Embroidered

Fromental pioneered the use of embroidery in wallpapers, applying skills honed over hundreds of years in Jiangsu province to a new medium. We work with over 900 silk thread colours to add just a few embellishments to painted wallpaper, or to embroider the whole design. The sewing in a single fully-embroidered chinoiserie panel can take 3 months to complete. These truly are artworks, the pinnacle of craftsmanship in wallpaper.
