Lacquered Backgrounds

Another innovation is the use of a mix of paint and polish to build up heavy backgrounds of faux-lacquer. Giving a glossier result than the traditional silk grounds, these have the added advantage of being easy to clean and are perfect for use in dining areas or bathrooms.
